The story of Akro is the story of a family; of a dynasty that stretches from the early days of the perfume industry in Grasse to the cutting-edge art of today.

It all began a few years ago, when founder Anaïs Cresp was living in London and discovering the world. Working in the pubs and bars of the lively and diverse Ladbroke Grove district, she was enchanted by the scents that surrounded her. by flower stalls, cafés, charcoal barbecues, by the whisky and leather of great Irish pubs and the inevitable grassy haze in the air.

After a long summer lost indulging in all the city had to offer, Anaïs had an idea; that these distinctive aromas could be bottled and turned into perfumes. Maybe instead of fruit and flowers, you could wear your favorite vise on your skin
